Mommy and Me Aprons

Mommy & Me Aprons

I wanted to sew something fun out of this cute cat fabric. Mommy and Me aprons! I used a store bought apron as a template for cutting my apron and then cut a smaller version for Sophie.

I couldn’t find any bias tape in the right shade of blue so I made my own using a tutorial from MADE. Give it a try…It’s actually pretty easy and gives you so many more color options. MADE also has another great tutorial on attaching bias tape just in case you need tips on that.
We had fun wearing our aprons recently when Sophie helped me cook corn for dinner.

The best part was getting a big hug from my girl as thanks for her pretty apron!

Fun! I bet your daughter loved having a matching apron as you. I recently made my daughter and I matching skirts- she loves it. There’s something special and exciting about being just like mom!

I love the aprons – such a good thing to match w/ Mommy and to learn at a young age, to have fun in your work. Thank you for sharing this………….

What a sweet blog post. Your little Diva certainly looks like a chef in the making. And the aprons are adorable. What great memories you are creating with your daughter.
